Rio suites hotel and casino

Just like last year I had to struggle to move a large heavy mattress to access an outlet behind it. There is no easily accessed outlet by the bed to plug in a CPAP machine. There was one big disappointment that I pointed out in last years review that was still an issue this year. I did not pay to use wifi as I had my cell phone. The safe, fridge, TV and air conditioning all worked great. Also, the toilet groaned when flushed (actually a little amusing) and the faucets both leaked water all over the counter top when in use. One lamp had the socket almost completely detached so I couldn't safely use it. There were a couple of things I noticed in the room that needed improvement. I made a pillow top cushion for it from the comforter that I wasn't using and that helped. The King bed was OK but rather hard and uncomfortable. I had a partial view of the strip which was nice as I could watch the fireworks from the Caesars gala one night. It was much cleaner and well kept than the room I had last year in the other tower.

I had a beautiful room on the 14th floor of the Ipanema Tower. I recently stayed seven days at the Rio for the Star Trek 50th anniversary convention.
